Big is the word! — A surprising transluscence about the eyes characterizes an uncompromising posture of grandezza only permitted in Milan to those who have already tended to their gardens. You could fall over in his dresses, yet minute details keep your eyelashes raised to the point that you could wink with contentment. Surpressed hysteria as a means of preserving a finely structured countenance is the basic recipe for concentration on the essential, which purely incidentally can be overshadowed.

He has learnt to maintain his inner complexity in the midst of almost overriding irritation and, even though man as a human quality remains purely a hand to be clothed, his models hide a great similarity to other creators, who did not hold democratic metaphors in such high esteem. His pointedly simple language stems from a meditative stance towards an environment in which his perceptions flow faster than the ensuing wrap-arounds. A preference for knees and long tendons during the silent moment of stillness is manifested to demonstrate an almost imperceptible accompanying grace which can do without glamour.

Carol tends to pronounce the shoulder, to integrate the elbow and above all to sexually codify androgynous behaviour so as to almost invite procreation. Dressing is casual and reflects in an unusual way the investment of an obviously long history of trial. One could almost lend one’s support, were there no scientific qualms to nibble at reality, causing the cell itself to wish to be continuously turned or illuminated. He defines vitality in terms of blood counts: which he can smell; yeah, if one so wishes, the tiger remains ever the mouse, because posture is more important than advertised expression. His sensors are playfully scanning and ever working inside of him.

Considering his shyness, a combination of hearty openness and the Must Have are his strictest guideline, for his models are not simply worn, one is forced to become part of his study fragments. Sometimes I have the feeling that the choice of what and whether is not his to make. For this he enjoys my esteem.

Drive normally has another definition, but for him it is like a sweetie, like an implant with a backward loop. He who is ignorant of his historical fabric remains likeable but left behind in incomprehension. Unbearable tension leads to results, however which may be quoted prior to 2005. In reality the man stands for personified torment in a finely structured environment. He reserves the right to technical as well as public details.

Whosoever shows interest in his work must serve his humanistic purpose and not vice versa. I would like to make clear the fact that the man knows his business better than those to whom he delivers. One should always counteract his somewhat archetypal and impulsive provocations with good food and flowers and extend friendship of a kind which has nothing to do with the world of fashion. Standing straight or conforming to a certain picture which walks towards you in a »cute« manner is not enough. When invited to a fitting, it is best to bring one’s body along, otherwise it will be measured and this always entails more than a new outfit in mathematical terms. »Un Angelo Crudele« as an apt citation of his unspoken intentions will cause quite a stir or simply clarify facts in the battle on the mental front lines.

Christian settled down at a time when the public had not yet taken him into its synthetic sights and preparations were in full swing, when no-one took notice or his environment even desired to distract him. Stubborn is not the word, moreso a focus on themes since »Knowing him, does mean Not knowing him.« His amorphous cell structure finds autonomous and self-sufficient expression in all that the sun has to offer in Micropolis.

My impression is not one of having to cite him, more wishing to be able to keep up with his comprehensive humanistic intention.
